Trunnion Mounted Double Bearing Design: The ball is fixed by upper and lower stems and supported by bearings. Medium pressure is borne by the seat spring loading system instead of pushing the ball against the seat. This design greatly reduces operating torque, enabling easy opening and closing under 1500LB high-pressure conditions and avoiding operation jamming of conventional floating ball valves caused by excessive differential pressure.
Double Block & Bleed (DBB) Function: A bleed/drain port is arranged in the valve body cavity. When the valve is closed, independent double-side sealing of upstream and downstream can be realized, and sealing integrity can be verified through cavity bleeding. It meets the requirements of pipeline isolation, safety maintenance and pressure relief, complying with API 6D DBB specifications.
Fire Safe Design: Adopts API 607 / API 6FA certified fire safe structure: after the soft seal seat is burned out in a fire, the metal seat and ball still maintain metal-to-metal sealing; graphite packing and body gaskets ensure no external leakage during fire, safeguarding the safety of critical pipelines.
Anti-Static & Blowout-Proof Stem: Standard equipped with anti-static device to ensure electrical continuity among ball, stem and valve body, eliminating static accumulation risks. The stem adopts blowout-proof shoulder design to prevent stem ejection when internal pressure rises abnormally, protecting personnel and equipment safety.
Emergency Sealant Injection System: Grease injection ports are provided at seats and packing. Under extreme working conditions or seal damage, special sealant can be injected for emergency sealing, extending valve service life and reserving maintenance window period.
Cavity Pressure Relief: When the cavity pressure exceeds 1.33 times of pipeline pressure, the seat spring automatically relieves pressure to the pipeline side, preventing overpressure risk of the valve cavity caused by medium thermal expansion.
