Main Structural Components

Working Principle

The working principle of the trunnion ball valve is based on the rotational movement of the ball. During the rotation process, the through-hole of the ball gradually aligns with the pipeline axis. When it is completely aligned, the fluid can pass through the valve unobstructed, and the valve is in the fully open state.
When the valve needs to be closed, the drive device acts in the opposite direction, making the stem drive the ball to continue rotating 90 degrees. As the ball rotates, its through-hole gradually becomes perpendicular to the pipeline direction until it is completely perpendicular. At this time, the fluid is blocked by the ball and cannot pass through the valve, and the valve is in the fully closed state. Trunnion Ball Valve   Process Structure
