Structural Features
WPB Carbon Steel Material: The valve body is forged or cast from ASTM A234 WPB carbon steel. It features high strength, excellent weldability and moderate corrosion resistance, delivering cost-effective performance.
Basket Strainer Structure: Built-in cylindrical basket screen offers large filtration area, low pressure drop and high dirt holding capacity to effectively trap solid contaminants.
Flanged Connection: Adopts RF (Raised Face) flange complying with ASME B16.5 standard. 1" nominal size and Class 150 pressure rating ensure great interchangeability for installation.
Top Opening Design: The strainer cover is bolted. It can be quickly opened from the top, so the screen can be removed for cleaning or replacement without dismantling pipelines.
Drain Port: An optional drain port is available at the bottom for on-line draining and system emptying, minimizing downtime.
