5.5" PN300 F304 Long Stem Gate Valve is a special‑bore long‑stem stainless steel gate valve engineered for special service conditions including buried installation, low‑temperature service, high‑temperature thermal radiation zones and limited‑operation‑space applications. It features a special 5.5‑inch (approx. DN140) bore and PN300 high‑pressure rating (equivalent to ANSI Class 2000). The valve body is cast from ASTM A351 CF8 (F304) austenitic stainless steel, delivering excellent corrosion resistance and low‑temperature toughness. The long‑stem design keeps operating components remote from process media and piping. It is well‑suited for buried pipelines, cryogenic storage tanks, surroundings of high‑temperature equipment and other services requiring remote operation or thermal isolation, to achieve reliable shut‑off and flow control.

Structural Features

  • F304 Austenitic Stainless Steel Material: The valve body adopts ASTM A351 CF8 (F304) or ASTM A182 F304 austenitic stainless steel. It delivers excellent corrosion resistance for various chemical media and atmospheric corrosive environments, together with favourable weldability and machinability.

  • Special 5.5‑inch Bore: Non‑standard special bore design (approx. DN140), situated between standard DN125 (5") and DN150 (6"). Customisable to meet project‑specific requirements for special flow rates and installation space constraints.

  • PN300 High‑Pressure Rating: High‑pressure class roughly equivalent to ANSI Class 2000 for medium‑to‑high pressure service. Wall thickness, bolting and sealing construction are reinforced for high‑pressure operating conditions.

  • Wedge Flexible Gate: One‑piece flexible wedge gate with precision‑machined wedge angle. Reliable sealing is achieved by mating wedge surfaces of gate and valve seat. The flexible structure compensates thermal deformation induced by temperature fluctuation to guarantee sealing performance.

  • Flanged or Welded Ends: RF (Raised Face) or RTJ (Ring‑Type Joint) flanged connection, or butt‑weld (BW) connection complying with EN 1092‑1 / ASME B16.5 to secure connection integrity under high‑pressure service.

  • Pressure‑Seal Bonnet (High‑Pressure Version): PN300 high‑pressure version adopts pressure‑self‑tight bonnet construction; sealing performance improves with rising process pressure, well suited for high‑pressure conditions.

  • Fire‑Safe Design: Compliant with API 607. Metal‑to‑metal sealing retains tightness under fire conditions to prevent media leakage.

  • Stem Anti‑Blow‑Out Construction: Top‑mounted anti‑blow‑out stem design equipped with shoulder and retaining rings, preventing stem ejection under abnormal internal pressure for operational safety.

  • Back‑Seat Design: Metal sealing forms between stem and bonnet at fully open position, enabling on‑line packing replacement without system depressurisation.

  • Long‑Stem Guide Assembly: Intermediate guide bracket fitted for extended stem to avoid stem bending and vibration caused by large length‑to‑diameter ratio, ensuring smooth opening and closing.

  • Flexible Graphite Packing: High‑purity flexible graphite packing with wide temperature range of ‑200℃ ~ +600℃, good self‑lubrication and outstanding sealing performance. Special low‑emission packing is optional for cryogenic service.
