J-VALVES
Design Features
Stainless Steel Construction: Valve body is forged from austenitic stainless steel (ASTM A182 F304/F316/F316L) or duplex stainless steel (F51/F53), delivering excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength. Suitable for corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salts and chlorides.
Socket-Weld (SW) Connection: Valve body ends feature socket-weld design. Pipes are inserted into the body socket and circumferentially welded to form a high-strength permanent joint with no leakage paths. It provides outstanding high-pressure and vibration resistance, ideal for high-pressure pipelines with limited space.
Forged Body Structure: Manufactured with integral forging process, resulting in dense grain structure and superior mechanical properties compared to castings, free from casting defects, suitable for high-pressure classes (Class 800/1500/2500).
Wedge-Type Flexible Wedge: Integral stainless steel wedge with a flexible slot in the middle achieves self-energized sealing under media pressure, compensating for thermal expansion and minor wear of sealing surfaces to ensure long-term reliable shut-off.
Fully Guided Stem Design: Upper guide bush between stem and bonnet, and lower guiding structure between stem and wedge ensure precise alignment during operation, preventing galling and damage to sealing surfaces.
Stem Sealing System: Equipped with flexible graphite braided packing or PTFE packing, combined with live-loaded packing gland, adaptable to high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. Low-emission packing is available to meet environmental requirements.
Blowout-Proof Stem & Back Seat: Stem is designed with an anti-blowout shoulder at the bottom. In the fully open position, the stem boss forms a metal-to-metal seal with the bonnet back seat, allowing online packing replacement under pressure and enhancing safety.
Compact Design: Small in size and light in weight, suitable for space-restricted installations such as instrument panels, skid-mounted equipment and laboratory units.
Optional Extended Bonnet: For high-temperature service, an extended bonnet is available to keep the packing area away from heat flow, protecting the packing and operating personnel.

Advantages & Value
Reliable High-Pressure Sealing: Full-circumference socket-weld eliminates connection leakage paths, and forged stainless steel body provides high pressure-bearing capacity, suitable for Class 2500 high-pressure service.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Austenitic and duplex stainless steels cover a wide range of corrosive environments, extending valve service life and reducing replacement costs.
High Space Efficiency: Compact socket-weld design saves over 70% installation space compared to flanged valves, ideal for dense pipe racks and skid-mounted units.
Operational Safety: Multiple safety designs including blowout-proof stem, back seat and live-loaded packing enable online maintenance, ensuring personnel and equipment safety.
Standardization & Interchangeability: Complying with international standards such as API 602, compatible with global high-pressure small-bore valve systems with high spare parts universality.
Flexible Configuration: A wide selection of stainless steel grades, pressure classes, sealing types and actuation methods to meet diverse applications from cryogenic liquid oxygen to high-temperature steam.
What do Class 1500 and WCB actually mean?Class 1500 is a rating category, not a universal operating pressureIn industrial valve practice, 1500LB usually refers to Class 1500. It is a pressure class designation used within an applicable standards framework. It does not mean the valve is automatically
