J-VALVES
Structural Features
WCB Cast Carbon Steel Body: Manufactured from ASTM A216 WCB cast steel with austenitizing heat treatment, featuring excellent mechanical strength, pressure-bearing capacity and castability. It is suitable for fabricating extra-large complex valve bodies up to 24 inches. Compared with forging, it reduces cost by 30%–40% and shortens delivery lead time.
24-Inch Extra-Large Bore Design: DN600 nominal bore satisfies ultra-high flow media delivery requirements as a mainline size in industrial piping systems, ideal for large pumping stations, water treatment plants, power plants and similar facilities.
Class 300 Medium Pressure Rating: Class 300 (PN50) pressure class with a maximum working pressure of 5.0 MPa at ambient temperature, suitable for medium-pressure steam, oil, gas, water systems and other general industrial pipelines.
Flexible Wedge: Equipped with an elastic groove in the middle of the wedge to automatically compensate for seat deformation, ensuring uniform contact of sealing surfaces and reliable sealing performance.
Wedge-Type Gate: Single or double gate design, achieving sealing via media pressure or external force, with simple structure and low flow resistance.
Full-Open / Full-Close Operation: When fully open, the flow passage matches the pipe inner diameter for extremely low pressure drop; when fully closed, sealing surfaces fit tightly for dependable shut-off.
Flanged Connection: RF (Raised Face) or RTJ (Ring Type Joint) flanged ends complying with ASME B16.5, facilitating integration with existing extra-large bore piping systems and online maintenance.
Bi-Directional Sealing: Both sides of the gate serve as sealing surfaces with no installation direction limitation, simplifying piping design and on-site construction.
Fire-Safe Design: Conforms to API 607 standard. In case of soft seal burnout, metal-to-metal sealing between gate and seat prevents media leakage during fire.
Blowout-Proof Stem: A limiting structure at the stem-wedge connection retains the stem within the body even under abnormal internal pressure, ensuring operational safety.
Low Operating Torque Design: Precision-machined contact surfaces between gate and seat, combined with high-quality lubricant, reduce opening and closing torque for easy manual or actuated operation.
ISO 5211 Actuator Mounting Pad: The top of the stem features an ISO 5211 standard mounting flange, enabling direct installation of high-torque electric, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators to support automation upgrades.

Chemical Industry: Applied in large-flow pipelines for corrosive chemical media and petrochemical products, with WCB material meeting general service conditions.
Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering: Used in large-bore pipelines for ballast water, bilge water and fire-fighting water systems, adapting to space-restricted installations.
General Industrial Service: Suitable for high-flow control and isolation of water, oil, gas, steam and other media as on-off equipment in piping systems.
Advantages & Value
Economical Extra-Large Bore Solution: As a mainstream extra-large bore size in industrial piping, the 24-inch valve with WCB cast steel construction reduces initial investment by 30%–40% compared with forged or stainless steel alternatives, delivering cost-effective performance.
Straight Flow Path with Low Pressure Drop: When fully open, the flow passage aligns with the pipe inner diameter, resulting in near-zero flow resistance and minimal pressure drop, lowering pumping energy consumption for long-term full-open service.
Flexible Bi-Directional Sealing Installation: Bi-directional sealing eliminates installation direction restrictions, simplifying piping design and on-site construction while reducing project costs.
Safety & Compliance Assurance: Multiple safety features including API 600 design, fire-safe and blowout-proof construction; optional PED, API 600 monogram certification to meet plant safety codes and regulatory requirements.
Flexible Automation Upgrade: ISO 5211 standard mounting allows quick integration of various high-torque actuators, enabling easy upgrade from manual to remote control and automated systems.
Optimized System Integration: Standard face-to-face dimensions and flanged connections ensure easy integration with existing extra-large bore piping, reducing engineering and construction costs while supporting retrofitting and expansion of aging systems.
Long-Term Operational Reliability: Mature and proven gate valve design with over a century of global application; refined manufacturing and inspection processes for 24-inch large-bore valves ensure high long-term reliability.
