Construction Features
316L Low-Carbon Stainless Steel Material: The body is cast from ASTM A351 CF3M (316L) stainless steel with a carbon content ≤ 0.03%, delivering excellent intergranular corrosion resistance. It is especially suitable for applications where solution treatment cannot be performed after welding, as well as highly corrosive media environments such as seawater, chloride-containing media, acids and alkalis.
Y-Type Flow Passage Design: Fluid enters the screen at a 45° angle with a low flow resistance coefficient (typically 1/3 to 1/2 that of T-type strainers), low pressure drop and high flow capacity, making it ideal for high-flow conditions.
Flanged Connection: Equipped with RF (Raised Face) flanges complying with EN 1092-1 / DIN standards. The PN16 pressure rating ensures reliable connection under medium and low-pressure conditions, facilitating system installation, maintenance and replacement.
Replaceable Screen Design: Built-in stainless steel woven wire mesh or perforated plate screen with selectable filtration ratings (normally 20–400 mesh). The flanged cover design allows quick screen removal and replacement without detaching the strainer from the pipeline.
Blowdown Port Design: A blowdown port (NPT or G thread) is provided at the bottom of the body, which can be fitted with a blowdown valve or blind plug to enable online blowdown without system shutdown for cleaning.
Optional Magnetic Adsorption: For applications with ferromagnetic particles, a permanent magnet adsorption device is available to enhance filtration performance and protect precision equipment.
Pressure Balanced Design: Inlet and outlet flanges are coaxial with no directional restriction for installation (normally low inlet and high outlet), ensuring stable flow conditions.
