J-VALVES
Design Features
F53 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Material: The valve body is integrally forged from ASTM A182 F53 (2507, 00Cr25Ni7Mo4N) super duplex stainless steel, with a ferrite-austenite phase ratio of approximately 50:50 and a PREN value ≥40. It delivers excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, suitable for highly corrosive media containing chloride ions, hydrogen sulfide, formic acid, acetic acid, etc.
Globe Valve Regulation Characteristics: The disc lifts along the centerline of the seat with a short opening/closing stroke. When closed, the disc sealing surface fits tightly against the seat for reliable shut-off; when partially open, the annular orifice between disc and seat enables precise flow control, making it ideal for regulating service.
Low-Pressure Flanged Connection: The valve body is equipped with Type B (raised face) flanges complying with EN 1092‑1 PN10. For DN32, flange outer diameter is 140 mm, bolt circle diameter 100 mm, 4×M16 bolts, flange thickness 16 mm, fully compatible with standard low-pressure piping systems.
Flat Face Sealing: Both disc and seat feature flat surfaces, easy to machine, suitable for general service conditions.
Conical Face Sealing: The conical surfaces of disc and seat form a high specific sealing pressure, suitable for high-pressure conditions.
Throttling Disc: The disc head is needle-shaped or parabolic, providing excellent regulation performance for precise flow control.
Low Operating Torque: The stem nut is made of friction‑reducing materials (copper alloy or self‑lubricating composite), matched with precision machined threads to reduce lifting friction. Manual operation of the DN32 small-bore valve is effortless, and small actuators can be optionally fitted.
Fire‑Safe Design: Complies with API 607. Graphite packing and metal sealing elements maintain sealing integrity under fire conditions to prevent media leakage.
Blowout‑Proof Stem Design: The stem is integrally forged and top‑mounted, with anti‑blowout steps and sealing rings. Even if the packing gland accidentally loosens, the stem is retained by the bonnet to ensure operational safety.
Graphite Packing Seal: The stuffing box uses flexible graphite braided packing or graphite ring assemblies, with a wide temperature range (-196℃ to +500℃) and good self‑lubrication, ensuring long‑term reliable dynamic sealing of the stem.
Compact and Lightweight Design: DN32 face‑to‑face length is approx. 180 mm, height approx. 160 mm, weight approx. 2–3 kg, facilitating installation in dense pipe racks and confined equipment spaces.

Fields of Application
Highly Corrosive Chemical Processes: Used in DN32 process lines of chlor‑alkali, organochlorine, pesticide, dye and other highly corrosive chemical plants. F53 material resists chloride and acid‑alkali corrosion, enabling precise regulation and safe shut‑off.
Petrochemical Hydrotreating Units: Applied in DN32 high‑pressure hydrogen and hydrogen sulfide pipelines of hydrocracking, hydrotreating and catalytic reforming units. F53 resists hydrogen embrittlement and sulfide stress corrosion, ensuring safety in hydrogen‑bearing environments.
Seawater Desalination Systems: Used in DN32 high‑pressure pump outlets and energy recovery device pipelines of reverse osmosis (RO) and multi‑stage flash (MSF) desalination plants. F53 withstands high chloride concentration corrosion, superior to 316L stainless steel.
Offshore Engineering: Installed in DN32 seawater, crude oil and natural gas control pipelines on offshore platforms, FPSOs and subsea pipelines. F53 resists seawater and oil‑gas corrosion, meeting deep‑sea environmental requirements.
Environmental Protection & Wastewater Treatment: Applied in DN32 pipelines for high‑chloride, high‑sulfur and high‑acid media such as landfill leachate, industrial wastewater and flue gas desulfurization systems. F53 performs reliably in complex corrosive environments.
General Industrial Use: Suitable for regulation and shut‑off of DN32 low‑pressure highly corrosive water, acid, alkali, salt and other media, especially in chloride environments and conditions with stress corrosion risks.
Advantages & Value
Superior Corrosion Resistance: With PREN ≥40, F53 duplex stainless steel offers 4–6 times better pitting and crevice corrosion resistance than 316L, and over 10 times better stress corrosion cracking resistance than 304, suitable for harsh environments with chloride ions >1000 ppm.
High Strength & Lightweight: Yield strength of F53 ≥550 MPa, more than twice that of 316L. Wall thickness of DN32 small‑bore valves can be reduced by 30%, weight by 20%, with improved pressure bearing capacity.
Precise Regulation Performance: The globe valve structure enables linear or equal‑percentage precise flow control, outperforming the shut‑only characteristic of gate valves and meeting automated process control requirements.
European Standard Compatibility & Interchangeability: Strictly conforms to EN 1092‑1, EN 12516 and EN 558, fully interchangeable with DN32 PN10 valves and piping accessories from major European brands, reducing inventory and replacement costs.
Compact & Easy Installation: DN32 valve weighs only 2–3 kg with a face‑to‑face length of approx. 180 mm, allowing flexible installation in dense pipe racks and narrow spaces, lowering pipe rack and support costs.
Effortless & Flexible Operation: Friction‑reducing stem nut design results in an operating torque below 10 N·m for DN32, enabling fingertip operation. Miniature pneumatic/electric actuators are optional for remote automatic control.
Safety & Compliance Compliance: Fire‑safe and blowout‑proof designs meet API 607 and instrument safety standards, verified by third‑party testing, protecting personnel and equipment in highly corrosive systems.
