J-VALVES
Design Features
Forged Carbon Steel Construction: The valve body is made of ASTM A105N forged carbon steel. Normalization treatment refines grains, improves toughness, and delivers a dense microstructure with uniform mechanical properties. Its pressure-bearing capacity is superior to cast steel, making it suitable for high-pressure small-bore applications and critical service conditions.
Straight-Through Globe Valve Structure: The body flow passage features an S-shaped or angular design. The disc moves vertically along the centerline of the seat, resulting in short opening/closing strokes and minimal sealing surface wear, ideal for frequent operation and precise throttling control.
Disc & Seat Sealing: The disc is replaceable. The sealing surfaces are hardfaced with Stellite alloy or treated with body hardening, providing excellent erosion and wear resistance while maintaining reliable sealing after repeated cycles.
Flange Connection: RF (Raised Face) flanges are applied in accordance with ASME B16.5, Class 150 (PN20). It offers high installation compatibility and easy connection to standard piping systems.
Packing Sealing System: Multi-layer PTFE, flexible graphite or braided packing is used, with a gland follower for adjustable compression force. This ensures long-term leak‑tightness at the stem, and packing can be replaced online.
Handwheel Operation: Standard handwheel mechanism, clockwise to close, counterclockwise to open. It features moderate operating torque and visual indication of valve position, suitable for local frequent adjustment.
Compact & Lightweight: The 3/4-inch small-bore forged steel structure ensures a compact size and light weight, facilitating installation in instrument panels, skid-mounted equipment and dense piping layouts with limited space.

Advantages & Values
Excellent Precise Regulation: The linear flow characteristic of globe valves enables fine flow control even at small openings, outperforming the equal percentage characteristic of ball valves, especially for throttling applications.
Reliable Sealing & Tight Shut-Off: Metal-to-metal or soft sealing between disc and seat ensures stable sealing performance after repeated operation, with leakage rate achieving API 598 zero leakage or ISO 5208 Rate A/B.
Superb Forged Steel Pressure Resistance: A105N forged steel features dense structure free of casting defects. With improved toughness after normalization, it provides high safety margins in small-bore high-pressure service and longer service life than cast steel valves.
Intuitive Operation & Easy Maintenance: Handwheel operation allows clear position indication. The stuffing box can be tightened or repacked online; discs and seats are individually replaceable, reducing lifecycle costs.
Flexible & Standardized Installation: Flanged ends are fully compatible with standard pipelines. The 3/4" small size enables dense arrangement, ideal for instrument panels, skids and space‑constrained areas.
Flow Direction for Sealing Protection: Low-inlet high-outlet flow design uses medium pressure to assist sealing, reducing closing torque and preventing direct erosion of sealing surfaces by high‑velocity fluid.
Remarkable Cost-Effectiveness: Forged steel construction ensures controllable manufacturing costs for small-bore valves. Class 150 rating covers most medium and low‑pressure applications, delivering better cost performance than stainless steel and high-pressure class products.
