Design Features
ASTM A105N Normalized Carbon Steel:The valve body is made of normalized ASTM A105N carbon steel with refined grains, uniform microstructure and relieved forging stresses. It delivers excellent overall mechanical properties, low-temperature toughness and weldability, superior to conventional A105 material, making it ideal for high-pressure services.
Bellows Seal System:Multi-layer stainless steel bellows serve as the dynamic stem sealing element, fully isolating the stem from the process medium. This eliminates micro-leakage inherent in conventional packing seals and complies with stringent emission standards including TA-Luft, ISO 15848-1 BH and EPA Method 21.
Dual Sealing Protection:Metal bellows act as the primary seal, with packing as a secondary backup seal. In the unlikely event of bellows failure, the packing retains emergency sealing capability for enhanced safety redundancy.
Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) Design:Stem threads are located outside the valve body, completely isolated from the process fluid. The yoke supports the stem nut for stable operating torque, and the open position is clearly visible. The design fully meets API 602 requirements.
Wedge Type Flexible Solid Wedge:The gate features a one-piece flexible wedge design with precision-
machined wedge angle, ensuring tight shutoff through matched body-seat wedge faces. The flexible structure compensates for thermal deformation, maintaining reliable sealing under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
Class 800LB High-Pressure Rating:Engineered to API 602 Class 800 (PN130), the valve features reinforced wall thickness, bolting and sealing configurations to satisfy reliable isolation demands in small-bore high-pressure systems.
Fire-Safe Design:Designed in accordance with API 607, the metal-to-metal sealing structure maintains sealing integrity under fire conditions, preventing secondary hazards caused by media leakage.
Blowout-Proof Stem:The stem incorporates a top-entry anti-blowout design with shoulder and retaining ring, preventing stem ejection under abnormal internal pressure and ensuring operational safety.
Back Seat Design:When fully open, a metal seal forms between the stem and bonnet, allowing online replacement of backup packing without system shutdown.
Compact & Lightweight:The small-bore high-pressure structure is compact and lightweight, facilitating installation in space-restricted areas and reducing pipeline support costs.
