Working Principle:
Forward Flow: When the fluid enters the valve from the inlet end, the fluid pressure overcomes the resistance of the spring, lifts the valve disc from the valve seat, and the fluid passes through the valve smoothly.
Reverse Flow or Stopped Flow: When the fluid stops flowing or flows in the reverse direction, the elastic force of the spring pushes the valve disc back to the valve seat for a tight seal, preventing the reverse flow of the fluid. This design ensures that the valve can be reliably closed even under low pressure or no pressure conditions.
