1. Independent Single-Side Fixing for Easy Maintenance

Ordinary wafer butterfly valves are clamped by flanges on both sides of the pipeline. If either flange is removed, the valve will fall off, requiring tedious pipeline depressurization and disassembly procedures.

Lug butterfly valves feature integrally cast threaded lugs around the valve body. The valve can be fixed using bolts from only one flange.
