Product Introduction
The trunnion-mounted ball valve is a special type of ball valve. It mainly consists of components such as the valve body, ball, valve stem, trunnions, valve seat and seals. The ball is the key component for controlling the on-off of the fluid. There is a circular through-hole on the ball. When the ball rotates, this through-hole aligns or is perpendicular to the inlet and outlet channels of the valve body, thus realizing the opening and closing of the valve. The valve stem is used to connect the external operating mechanism and the ball, driving the ball to rotate. The trunnions are the parts that support the ball, usually located at the bottom of the ball, and together with the valve stem, ensure the stable rotation of the ball within the valve body.
The trunnion type is a common connection method. It is usually used in mechanical equipment such as hydraulic cylinders. It is connected with other components through the trunnion type, allowing rotation or swinging within a certain range.

Characteristic
Sphere Support Method:
The upper part of the sphere is supported by the valve stem, and the lower part is supported by the trunnions, forming a double support structure that makes the sphere more stable during rotation, less affected by fluid pressure, capable of withstanding higher pressures and larger diameters, suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter working conditions.
Sealing Structure:
The valve seat is pushed by the spring built in the valve seat bracket, contacts the ball and seals it. This design can ensure good sealing performance and reduce the possibility of leakage.
