Structural characteristics of trunnion ball valves. 

(I) Trunnion support design. 

The core structure of a trunnion ball valve is the trunnion support system. The ball is fixed by trunnions at the top and bottom. This design significantly reduces the friction between the ball and the valve seat, and at the same time enhances the sealing performance and pressure-bearing capacity of the valve. Compared with traditional floating ball valves, trunnion ball valves perform better under high-pressure and large-diameter working conditions. 

(II) Sealing system.

Trunnion ball valves usually adopt a bidirectional sealing system and can achieve sealing in two directions. Its sealing surface is usually made of high-performance polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or metal sealing materials, which can maintain good sealing performance under high pressure and high temperature conditions. In addition, 

trunnion ball valves are also equipped with a middle chamber automatic pressure relief function, which can automatically release pressure when the pipeline pressure abnormally rises to prevent the valve from being damaged due to overpressure. 

(III) Operating mechanism.

The operating mechanism of trunnion ball valves is designed to be simple and efficient. Its trunnion support structure significantly reduces the torque required to operate the valve, making valve operation easier. This design not only reduces the energy consumption of the actuator but also improves the service life of the valve.

High-performance performance
(I) Excellent sealing performance
The trunnion support design of the trunnion ball valve reduces the friction between the ball and the valve seat and enhances the sealing performance. Even under high pressure and high temperature conditions, the trunnion ball valve can maintain zero leakage. This excellent sealing performance makes it an ideal choice for the petroleum, natural gas and chemical industries.
(II) Adaptability to high pressure and large diameter working conditions
The trunnion ball valve is particularly suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter pipeline systems. Its trunnion support structure can withstand extremely high pressure and ensure the safe operation of the system. In addition, the operating torque of the trunnion ball valve is low, making it easier to operate in large-diameter working conditions.
(III) Corrosion resistance
The trunnion ball valve. is usually made of stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials and can adapt to working conditions with corrosive media. The sealing surface material (such as PTFE) also has good corrosion resistance, further enhancing the service life of the valve.
(IV) Low operating torque
The trunnion support structure significantly reduces the torque required to operate the valve, making valve operation easier. This design not only reduces the energy consumption of the actuator but also improves the service life of the valve.
