Metal Mesh Filter Element
· Features: High strength, large filtration area, low pressure drop, and easy to clean.
· Application Scenarios: Suitable for occasions with low requirements for filtration accuracy but large flow rates, such as industrial cooling water systems.
Switch to the standby process: If there is a standby filter in the system, switch to the standby process first to ensure the normal flow of the fluid.
Venting and draining: Close the upstream and downstream valves of the filter, slowly open the vent valve and drain valve, and empty the fluid in the filter to ensure that the internal pressure is zero.
Safety inspection: Confirm that there is no pressure in the filter and no residual harmful gases or liquids. If the filter contains flammable substances such as iron sulfide powder, wet work should be adopted to keep the working environment moist.
Check the filter element: Before installation, check the size, material, and integrity of the new filter element to ensure it meets the requirements.
Install correctly: Place the filter element in the filter basket, ensuring it is properly installed and well-sealed. Use special tools to fix the filter element end cover to avoid excessive force that may damage the filter element.
Check the seal: After installation, close the blind plate and tighten the bolts. Conduct gas recovery or air replacement, slightly open the upstream valve of the filter, gradually increase the pressure, and check the tightness.
Slowly open the valves: After confirming good tightness, slowly open the upstream and downstream valves of the filter to resume the normal process.
Monitor the operation: In the initial stage of operation, closely monitor the pressure drop, flow rate, and filtration effect of the filter to ensure the new filter element is working properly.
