API 599 is the globally recognized standard for metal-seated plug valves in oil and gas industry. It defines design rules, pressure classes, material inspection and performance tests for plug valves. Our J-VALVES 10" 150LB UB6 plug valve is manufactured fully complying with API 599 specification. It adopts flanged end connection, equipped with pneumatic actuator plus manual override, supporting both automatic remote control and local manual emergency operation.
UB6 duplex stainless steel delivers outstanding resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Compared with regular 304 /316 stainless steel, UB6 performs much longer service life in chloride-containing and sour media such as seawater and sour gas.
10-inch nominal size with Class150 pressure rating, designed for large flow low-pressure pipeline service. Flange face machined per ASME B16.5 for easy site installation. Robust valve body maintains tight sealing under temperature variation and medium impact, minimizing leakage risk.
