Working principle of three-way plug valve: 

The three-way plug valve is a valve with three channels. It controls the flow direction of fluid by rotating the plug. Its main function is to realize the diversion, confluence or switching of the flow direction of fluid. The plug of the cock valve is usually conical or cylindrical. The plug is driven to rotate by rotating the handle or actuator, thereby changing the fluid passage. When the through hole of the plug is aligned with the channel of the valve body, the fluid can pass smoothly; when the plug is rotated by 90 degrees, the fluid is cut off.

Low fluid resistance. This low fluid resistance characteristic makes it perform well when transporting high-viscosity liquids.
