Pressure-sealed bonnet gate valve is a kind of valve specially designed for high-pressure working conditions. It is widely used in high-pressure pipeline systems in industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, and electric power. Its unique self-tightening sealing principle makes it perform outstandingly in high-pressure environments and becomes an ideal choice for high-pressure working conditions.
Self-tightening sealing principle
Pressure-sealed bonnet gate valve automatically adjusts the sealing specific pressure through medium pressure to achieve dynamic enhancement of sealing performance. A wedge-shaped sealing gasket is used between the bonnet and the valve body. Initial sealing is completed by pre-tightening bolts. When the medium pressure rises, the bonnet rises, and the sealing specific pressure increases accordingly to ensure the sealing effect. This design makes the valve have stronger sealing performance under high pressure and can automatically adapt to pressure changes.
Advantages of high-pressure working conditions
(I) Excellent sealing performance: Under high pressure, the sealing specific pressure increases with the increase of medium pressure to ensure zero leakage. The self-tightening design reduces the wear of sealing elements and extends the service life.
(II) High structural strength: The valve body and valve cover adopt integral forging process, which is resistant to high temperature and high pressure and suitable for extreme working conditions.
(III) Low maintenance cost: The operating torque is small and the opening and closing are flexible, reducing the maintenance workload.
(IV) Strong adaptability: It is suitable for multiple media and large-diameter pipelines and meets the flow demand of high-pressure systems.
