The multi-directional control principle of three-way ball valves
The core component of a three-way ball valve is a sphere with three channels, usually in a "T" or "L" structure. By rotating the sphere, the switching of fluid between different channels can be realized to meet the needs of diversion, confluence or distribution. Its multi-directional control function is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

III. Flow regulation: By controlling the rotation angle of the sphere, the opening degree of the side channel can be adjusted to realize the precise control of fluid flow. Pneumatic three-way ball valves drive the sphere to rotate through pneumatic actuators, which can realize fast and accurate control.
Sealing technology of three-way ball valve
The sealing performance of a three-way ball valve is the key to its reliability. Its sealing technology mainly includes the following aspects:
The three-way ball valve usually adopts a double sealing structure, including pre-tightening seal and medium pressure-assisted seal. During assembly, the sealing seat and the ball are in close contact through pre-tightening force to form an initial seal. In the working state, the medium pressure further compresses the sealing seat to enhance the sealing effect.
The sealing seat is made of elastic materials (such as polytetrafluoroethylene) or a combination of elastic expansion rings and sealing materials, which can effectively compensate for the wear of the sealing surface. This design not only improves the sealing performance but also extends the service life of the sealing element.
The connection between the valve body and the pipeline adopts threaded or welded connection methods, and sealing rings or sealing gaskets are used to ensure the sealing performance of the connection.
