In modern industry, fluid control is a key link to ensure the smooth operation of production processes. As an efficient and reliable valve equipment, stainless steel flange globe valve is widely used in various industrial scenarios thanks to its unique design and excellent performance.
Technical principle of stainless steel flange globe valve:
The stainless steel flange globe valve is a forced-sealing valve. Its core component is a cylindrical disc. The sealing surface is flat or conical. The disc moves in a straight line along the center line of the fluid. When the valve is closed, the disc closely fits against the valve seat under the drive of the valve stem to prevent fluid from passing through. When the valve is opened, the disc rises and the fluid can flow through the valve body.
Working principle:
The working principle of the stainless steel flange globe valve is based on the mechanical sealing mechanism between the disc and the valve seat. By rotating the handwheel or driving device, the valve stem drives the disc to move up and down, thereby realizing the opening and closing of the valve. When the medium enters from below the disc, the operating force needs to overcome the friction between the valve stem and the packing as well as the thrust generated by the medium pressure. This design enables the globe valve to provide reliable sealing when closed and also respond quickly when opened.
Sealing mechanism:
The sealing performance of the stainless steel flange globe valve mainly depends on the tight fit between the disc and the valve seat. High-quality globe valves use precisely machined sealing surfaces to ensure effective prevention of leakage in the closed state. Some models are also equipped with soft sealing materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) to further improve the sealing performance.
