C95800 is high‑grade aluminum‑bronze alloy. It delivers excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, erosion and cavitation. This material is widely adopted for marine platforms, ship piping, seawater desalination and brine circulation pipelines.
Many buyers only focus on size and pressure class while ignoring material grade & manufacturing codes, which will cause body rusting, seat leakage and short service life in corrosive service. Different from WCB carbon steel valves, C95800 aluminum bronze owns its unique pressure‑temperature rating curve. Manufacturers cannot simply copy parameters for carbon‑steel gate valves.
C95800 bronze casting complies with ASTM B148 standard. The alloy contains aluminum, iron and nickel elements, performing much better against pitting and crevice corrosion than ordinary brass. Valve body and wedge are C95800 cast bronze. Stem is matched bronze or stainless steel for brine and seawater media, preventing rapid corrosion compared with carbon‑steel valves.
This is outside screw & yoke (OS&Y) flanged gate valve with bolted bonnet. After assembly, each valve undergoes shell hydro‑static test and seat tightness test per API 598 valve inspection & testing standard. RF raised‑face flange design ensures easy field piping connection.
